Outside the EU, we ship to the United Kingdom.
All LAR blankets are made in the EU and shipped from Portugal.
Note: Customs duties and handling fees may apply for the UK, which you’ll need to cover.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping depends on your location:
- Portugal, Spain, Germany: €4.95 per order
- Other EU countries: €9.95 per order
- Orders over €150: free shipping within the EU

When will I get my order?
We’ll ship your order as quickly as possible. Once it’s on its way, you’ll get an email with tracking information. Delivery times vary by location, but we’ll keep you updated every step of the way.
As a small business, we handle shipping ourselves, so please bear with us if things take a little longer sometimes. We truly appreciate your patience and support.
Can I pick up my order instead of having it shipped?
Absolutely. We have drop-off locations in Ericeira and Lisbon. Just select “pickup” when ordering, and we’ll let you know when your blanket is ready.
What is the return policy?
Our goal is for everyone to be totally satisfied with their purchase. If this isn't the case, let us know and we'll do our best to work with you to make it right. You can return your blanket no questions asked within 30 days of receiving it. Once we receive your return, we’ll process your refund within 7 business days.

- Return shipping costs are your responsibility.
- If you’re returning an order from outside the EU (e.g. UK), please clearly mark your package as a return to avoid customs issues.
What are LAR blankets made of and where are they manufactured and shipped from?
LAR blankets are jacquard-knit cotton blankets made from 100% natural fibres. They are produced in the north of Portugal near Guimarães, part of a region known for its textile craftsmanship.
Every blanket is made in the EU and shipped from Portugal.
Can I machine-wash my blanket?
Absolutely. LAR blankets are designed to be a washable home blanket for everyday life. Simply wash your cotton blanket at 30°C and let it air dry. Our blankets are made to be used, washed and used again.
How do I wash a cotton blanket?
Wash your cotton blanket at 30°C with similar colours. Use a mild detergent and avoid bleach. Let it air dry to keep its shape and softness.
Is the blanket suitable for indoors and outdoors?
For sure. LAR blankets work as a cosy blanket indoors and as a blanket for outdoor use. Use it on the sofa, take it to the park, bring it to the beach or on a picnic. It’s designed for real life, wherever it happens.
Is the blanket pet-friendly?

25% of LAR’s profits go to Patas da Ericeira,a local association we work with on a regular basis, to support rescued dogs and cats with food, medical care, foster support and international adoptions.
