The story behind
Camillo Azul

The Camillo Azul is named after a real dog – a rescued Galgo with the calmest soul, belonging to the designer behind LAR’s logo and first product: Lotte Lieb.

Galgos are slender, gentle sighthounds, known for their quiet elegance and loyal nature. It's hard to imagine a better muse.

The blue is inspired by Portugal: the shimmer of the Atlantic, the wide open sky, and the distinctive blue borders that frame the doorways and windows of Portuguese houses. A colour that feels both calm and alive.

The blanket carries all of this: Camillo's silhouette woven large at the centre, crafted using traditional jacquard knitting techniques and 100% natural cotton. Fringed on all sides, 150x200 cm — big enough to share, soft enough to keep to yourself.
